UHPLC–ESI–MS/MS system designed for proteomic applications, combining a Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ UltiMate™ 3000 RSLCnano UHPLC (nano/capillary flow) with an Orbitrap Fusion™ Tribrid™ mass spectrometer. The RSLCnano pump provides nano/capillary flow rates from 20 nL/min up to 50 µL/min. The mass analyzer features a Tribrid™ architecture combining a quadrupole mass filter, a dual-pressure linear ion trap and an ultra-high-field Orbitrap™ mass analyzer.

Main instrumental features:

  • Ultra-high Orbitrap resolution up to 450,000 FWHM (at m/z 200)

  • Tribrid™ architecture: quadrupole mass filter + ultra-high-field Orbitrap™ + dual-pressure linear ion trap

  • Parallel operation: quadrupole precursor selection enabling ion trap and Orbitrap to work in parallel for fast, efficient MS/MS workflows

  • Accurate mass measurements: <3 ppm RMS (external calibration), <1 ppm RMS (internal calibration / EASY-IC)

  • Flexible fragmentation: CID and HCD (with optional ETD if installed)
