Simultaneous confocal 2-color fluorescence microarray scanner (635 nm and 532 nm) with adjustable scan resolution (3-40 µm). It is provided with Mapix® microarray image analysis software application, computer and monitor. It detects Cy3, Alexa 3, Alexa 546, Alexa 555, Cy5, Alexa 5, Alexa 647 and Alexa 660 fluorophores.

Main instrumental features:

  • 3.5 minutes to scan an entire 25x76 mm substrate slide at 10 µm resolution
  • Sensitivity: 0.1 fluor/µm²
  • Uniformity: <5% CV
  • Automatic spot localization and optimal grid alignment
  • Automatic spot segmentation
  • Lowess smoothing and other global data normalization algorithms are adapted to two-color microarrays
